Since I was only looking at properties on line, I thought it reasonable to sell my property on line and through an on line estate agency. So, six weeks ago I agreed to the terms and condition with Propertyeagle, a very straight forward process. You can either pay a fee up front, less than £500, or pay slightly more, on the sale of your property. Now we are not talking about 1% commission here, it’s a very reasonable charge. They sent some one round to take measurements and photos. These were professional photos, which really showed my property in its best light. Five weeks later I have accepted an offer on my property!
Sounds magical and a bit too easy doesn’t it! But actually, the girls, and guys of Property Eagle worked not only very hard, they worked efficiently. I had, in those four/five weeks, forty one viewings! To arrange that many viewings, all the telephoning before, after and during, takes time and no small amount of professionalism.
Even though I have accepted an offer, the job is not finished, yet I know the team behind Property Eagle will be there to help and back me up through out the challenges ahead.
It would be wrong to say an Internet based Estate Agency is better than a local Estate agent, who you can visit in person and who has actually visited the properties he is selling. But, these guys are professional, they get the job done, sell your house, and can save you thousands of pounds in the process.
